Pakistani model Ayyan Ali has been taken into custody and sent on 14-day judicial remand after $506,800 was recovered by custom authorities at the Benazir International Airport. According to thenews.com.pk, currency notes were seized during the checking of Ayyan Ali"s luggage when she was about to leave for Dubai. A case has been lodged against the Dubai based model/actress under Custom Act. Later on, the model was presented before Special Judge Custom who sent her to 14-day judicial remand. Ayyan Ali was moved to medical facility for an examination shortly after being taken into custody. She refused to eat food served in jail after which the jail authorities served her fresh juices in breakfast and biscuits for lunch. Moreover, Ali kept on asking the jail officials to give her updates of the Pakistan-Ireland cricket match held yesterday (March 15).
