Model Michele McGrath jets to Boston to support UFC fighter beau Cathal Pendred Model and singer Michele McGrath had a wonderful time in Boston in recent days, ahead of her boyfriend Cathal Pendred"s UFC fight in the city last night. Cathal was born in Boston before moving to Ireland when he was four. Yesterday was special for the sportsman as not only was it his first time returning to his birthplace, but it was also his birthday. Michele arrived in Boston on Friday and posted a snap in Cathal"s arms in a snow-filled park with fairy lights on the trees. It didn"t take long for her to settle into life in the States as she tucked into pancakes and went to a basketball game at TD Garden to support Boston Celtics. "At my first Celtics game in 23 years. I can"t believe I"m fighting here in two days. Life is crazy," Cathal wrote online. As well as enjoying the sights, Cathal was also ran into UFC fan, actor Mickey Rourke.
