SRK immortalised in life size 3D print model

Red Chillies VFX has been known for its innovation and excellence in special effects. But they have never shied away from taking the excellence one step ahead. As a special gift to Shah Rukh Khan, Red Chillies VFX and Autodesk India came together to make the world"s first life size 3D printed model in his signature pose. This life-size model has been designed in India and is the first of its kind around the world. "Its the first 3D printed life-size model done by Red Chillies VFX and Autodesk team. It is overwhelming how technology has gone forward. I am grateful to be a part of this amazing technology. This is outstanding and I am dying to show it to my kids. It"s a silver and shiny statue of mine in my classic pose. I want to thank Keitan, Harry, Red Chillies VFX team and Autodesk team who have worked on it. Its the figure of work I have done for all these years," said Shah Rukh Khan. Kolkata"s first wax museum, modelled on London"s famed Madame Tussauds also has SRK"s wax statue. The actor also has a statue at Tussauds" Los Angeles branch and his latest wax figure is dressed in a sleek black suit and white shirt. Another statue of SRK was installed at the Musee Grevin in Paris in 2007. In the same year, he was accorded the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Order of the Arts and Literature) award by the French government for his exceptional career. Shah Rukh Khan"s wax figure was unveiled at Madame Tussauds" museum in New York"s Times Square. His wax figure was unveiled amid colourful dance performance by Bollywood Axion Dance Troupe that performed to the soundtrack from his film My Name Is Khan with the wax work behind them. One of the reasons for Khan"s inclusion in the New York facility was due to public requests, according to Rosemary del Prado, director of marketing at Madame Tussauds. "We make these decisions based on our guests" feedback," she said. "And the population around NYC are familiar with Bollywood".
