Perth tradie a modelling success

For Perth tradie Ben Swift, throwing in his physically demanding job as a plumber to become a male model was a big career gamble. Fortunately, the gutsy move has paid off in more ways than one for the ruggedly handsome heart-throb. So much so that since relocating to Melbourne, work has come streaming in for the 2012 Cleo Bachelor of the Year. From posing for fashion labels Calvin Klein,Japanese-founded label Uniqlo and, more recently,Bonds, work hasn"t been hard to come by for Swift. Chadwick"s Perth manager Tanya Muia described Swift as one of the agency"s rising stars who stood out from the rest in an increasingly competitive male modelling market. "I think this is due to his handsome yet rugged good looks, healthy physique and his infectious down-to-earth personality". "I would definitely like to pursue modelling full-time. I enjoy it more,it"s more exciting". But Swift isn"t the only Perth hunk to have found success in the modelling scene. Also rising in the fashion ranks are top international exports Stirling Caiulo and Emmett Pugh who began their fashion careers with Chadwick"s Perth. Caiulo-the boyfriend of 2013 top-six Miss Universe WA finalist and top model Caris Tiivel-has had an extensive stint on the international fashion scene. But it wasn"t long until the young hunk was called away from home turf again.
