Gemma McIntosh has made it through to the semi-finals of the Miss Teen Great Britain contest for the second time in three years.The 15-year-old from Whinhall has an unusual way of keeping herself in shape for the catwalk. A lot of girls are taking up boxercise classes these days but I would encourage them to take up boxing and get into the ring."This year I will be 16 when the Scottish Championships take place so I can go in against the older girls and hopefully get my first competitive fight."The St Margaret"s High pupil decided to try out modelling after returning from a holiday some years ago where someone had commented about how photogenic she was.After nagging her mum Yvonne, she was allowed to enter a competition and managed to reach the final earning a year"s modelling contract with a beauty and fashion brand in the process. The teenager is now hoping her knockout looks will help her to go a stage further in this year"s modelling competition than she has gone before.
