Muscling up the world of modelling

Model and presenter Kris Smith dreads having to model swimwear. The former rugby player admits he doesn"t have a natural model"s physique and has to work out every day ahead of the Myer spring summer shows. "I"m not skinny so I have to work a bit harder to get in shape for swimwear. I"m a lot bigger than a lot of models I have about a 33-34 inch 84-86cm waist but I am a lot bulkier through the shoulders and arms, which is a nightmare for Myer to get sample sizes to fit me". Although his many female fans would disagree,Smith he would never make it as a high-fashion model. "I"m not suitable for a lot of jobs because I just won"t fit in the clothes". But he wouldn"t change a thing: "I feel a lot better with a bit of meat on me." He will appear on the catwalk with Myer ambassador Jennifer Hawkins at the August 8 show,to be held at Sydney"s Fox Studios.
