Blacktown"s modelling competition


Blacktown"s modelling competition contestants survive first hurdle.Ashley Pogmore and Jade Collins have made it through to week three of the latest series of Australia"s Next Top Model. The two aspiring models,who are both from the Blacktown area survived the first elimination round of this year"s series,with Ashley,of Rooty Hill,receiving positive feedback from the judges,including new host Jennifer Hawkins. Jade,of Blacktown,received less positive feedback,but was still far from last to survive the cull. The contestants were sent to Bangkok,Thailand for their first overseas assignment on the show,which screens at 7.30pm on Tuesday nights on Fotel"s FOX 8 channel. See your ad here One of the tasks they were assigned was styling an outfit working in a team and 19-year-old Ashley,who is a former student of Rooty Hill High School,caused conflict with the other girls when she that she felt left out of her group during the activity. Twenty-year-old Jade is a law student at the University of Western Sydney.
