Can you identify the models in famous photographer"s 1960s fashion shoots? It was the 1960s, and fashion was hip, hot and happening. But the models" names were not always recorded for posterity. A call has gone out to identify models featured in the work of top Australian fashion photographer Henry Talbot, whose portfolio is on show at the National Gallery of Victoria. In the 1960s, Talbot was one of Australia"s most admired and in-demand commercial snappers.He took fabulous shots at places as diverse as the the Treasury Gardens, the Altona petrochemical plant, airports and stables. His shots appeared in Vogue and Vanity Fair and clients ranged from General Motors to Sportscraft and the Australian Wool Board. In 1983, 11 years after he closed his studio, Talbot donated more than 35,000 images to the gallery.
