Contestants Joey Chestnut (left) and Matt Stonie (right) are pictured during last year"s contest. The trick is having soggy buns (they"re faster to swallow). New Zealand"s Zisser said she could out-eat her male counterparts when she competes. Her accolades include winning a pizza-eating contest, eating a KFC Double Down in 28 seconds, inhaling a five-foot (1.5-metre-long) Subway sandwich and demolishing a burrito the size of a chihuahua in under five minutes. Friday"s weigh in also featured a ceremonial stare down between the competitors. Chestnut broke a world record in 2013 when he scoffed down 69 soggy dogs in 10 minutes. As an eight-year champion, he holds the Mustard Yellow International Belt after eating 61 hot dogs at last year"s contest. This year, he"ll face off against former champ Takeru Kobayashi.
