FASHION TRENDS with ANGELA CHISHIMBA NINETEEN-year-old Kalwa Norine Musonda,a student at Mulungushi University,has been offered a modelling stint in Kosovo. This came came on the heels of her participation in the Miss Freedom of the World 2013 pageant that was held in Kosovo last month. The up-coming model managed to get into the top 15 at one of the top three most prestigious international beauty pageants. Kalwa also received an offer from an Italian Modelling firm called "Miss Intentional Contest" owned by a well know modelling casting director Massimo Buttiglieri in Italy. The experience in Kosovo was amazing,and the best part about it was learning the different cultures from all over the world. All this,of course,was made possible by my sponsors who include Fay Designs,who,in a short period of time,managed to design my evening and national costumes. She thanked her family and friends for the emotional and financial support they rendered her. Kalwa represented Zambia alongside Alice,another talented model. Together we worked well and managed to stay true to our country. This is only a stepping stone to bigger things for me. I really thank God for this. Zambia is truly a beautiful country,and my wish is to promote it world-wide in a positive way.
