School student Gemma celebrates modelling success

A year 12 student at South Craven School in Cross Hills is celebrating her success in the final stages of Bradford"s 2013 Modelsearch contest. Gemma Foulds, along with a hundred other hopefuls, paraded on the catwalk in front of a cheering crowd and five judges at the Kirkgate Centre in Bradford. The finalists were put to a public vote and Gemma, pictured, emerged as one of two winners in the 16-plus age category,"Gemma"s dad originally advert for the competition and persuaded her to apply. "As she wants to be a dance teacher after university and liked the idea of modelling part-time she agreed to give it a go. "Walking out in front of the crowd and the judges was a nerve wracking experience for her,but she reckons that her dance experience gave her confidence and poise. "As she was successful she is looking forward to doing this more".
